● notes: i meant to give this soundtrack a car/love theme, since i remembered how you liked cars. it's stronger in love than machine, but i think you'll understand.

● notes: when i heard this song, my mind jumped to you--i almost named this playlist 'but we gave love a chance'. you're not wild, but when i talk to you, i feel liberated, like throwing down all the windows, going 65mph down the highway.
● i see a dust trail following an old red nova, baby blue eyes, your head on my shoulder. wait--baby, don't move, right there it is. a t-shirt hanging off a dogwood branch, that river was cold, but we gave love a chance. yeah, yeah for me, you don't look a day over fast cars and freedom, that sunset river bank first time feeling.

● notes: this is still the first song that comes to mind when i think of you.

● notes: another song that made me think of you whenever i heard it, especially considering That fiasco. this love is ours.
● seems like there's always someone who disapproves. they'll judge it like they know about me and you. and the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do; the jury's out. my choice is you. so don't you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine, and life makes love look hard. the stakes are high, the water's rough... but this love is ours.

● notes: another car-themed song, that, honestly... i would've put on here without the theme. sometimes i catch myself wondering what to say--there has to be something stronger than 'i love you'.

● notes: pointing out right now that you aren't a pain in the arse, but everything else fits!

● notes: this is honestly one of my favorite songs, and when the chorus starts... i drift to you.
